Find out when someone changes your Florida business filing.
Sunbiz Sentry watches the public records of the Florida Division of Corporations (Sunbiz) for the businesses you choose. When a filing changes a registered agent, officer, address, or company status, we alert you by email, and by text message if you opt in, so an unauthorized change doesn't go unnoticed for months.
Why it matters
Anyone can file changes to a Florida company on Sunbiz. Business identity thieves use that to swap in a new registered agent or officers, then open credit or move assets in the company's name. The state doesn't notify the owner. Sunbiz Sentry does.
What we watch
Registered agent changes
Someone files to replace the agent who receives legal papers for the business.
Officer and manager changes
Names added to or removed from the company's officers, directors, or managers.
Address changes
The principal or mailing address on file is changed.
Name and status changes
The company is renamed, becomes inactive or administratively dissolved, or is reinstated.
Annual report deadlines
Optional reminders before Florida's May 1 annual report deadline.
How it works

Step 2
Add the businesses to watch
Search by name or Sunbiz document number and add the companies you own, manage, or represent.
Step 3
Get alerted
We check the state's records every day. When a filing changes something, you get an email, plus a text message if you opted in to SMS alerts.
Text message alerts
Customers who add a mobile number and check the SMS consent box get filing-change alerts, deadline reminders, and password-reset codes by text. Texts are optional and are never used for marketing. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
